Thank you for visiting our website! I am proud to be associated with the Haysboro Dental Care team.

I earned my dental degree in India, specializing in Prosthodontics (MDS). After 15 years as a dentist in India, I moved to Canada where I joined the Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) program at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. At graduation, I was awarded the American College of Dentist’s award for Ethics and Professionalism, American College of Prosthodontists Undergraduate Achievement Award and the Student Mentor Achievement Award.

Today, I enjoy doing all aspects of General Dentistry with special interests in Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics. It’s a profession that continually improves and so investment in new techniques and procedures is fundamental to my practice. Continuing education courses I’ve attended over the last few years have focused on guided implant surgeries, Platelet-rich Fibrin (PRF), advanced bone and soft tissue grafting and sinus lifts.

I am proud to be an alumnus of major implant training institutes. The highly regarded Pikos Institute has had a major influence on the implant protocols we have developed at Haysboro.

I was awarded with The Fellowship of International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Fellowship of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics for continuing education in the field of implant dentistry.

Outside the office, I am the father of two teenage girls. I love to travel with my family, doing all the typical “dad” things. Recently, I’ve become an avid hiker, exploring the trails of our Alberta Rockies.

Dr. Shruti Chahal

Thank you for visiting our website. I am proud to live and work in Calgary. Being new to Calgary, I am throughly enjoying what this wonderful and vibrant city has to offer.

I was born and raised in India. I ran my own Dental Office over there for nine years before moving to Canada in 2012. Thereafter I cleared The Canadian Dental Licensing Exam to get fully certified to practice General Dentistry. I am a member in good standing of the Canadian Dental Association and Alberta Dental Association and College, International association of Orthodontics.

I believe in life long learning and possess the qualification and skill in all aspects of General Dentistry. I have completed advanced training from the University of Alberta that allows me to offer facial rejuvenation with Botox (neuromodulators) and from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver a course on Oral sedation and Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to treat anxious patients. I am currently taking courses in orthodontics (Braces) and Invisalign.

My professional philosophy has always been to treat my patients as I would treat my own family; to give them all their options for care, to help them decide what treatment option is best for them and then provide the best in care.

I have two lovely daughters and a loving husband who is also a dentist. I love spending my free time with them travelling, going to the movies, biking and playing games. I love being a part of this exciting profession and enjoy practicing all aspects of General Dentistry, with special interest in oro-facial aesthetics. I strive to provide the best professional services to you and your family and welcome you at Haysboro Dental Care.
